The 109th edition of the Indianapolis 500 is fast approaching, with the race set for May 25th. To celebrate such a prestigious and eagerly anticipated event, we’re hosting the Grid Finder Indy 500 Livery Competition to find the best Indy 500-inspired design out there!
How do I participate in the Grid Finder Indy 500 Livery Competition?
You can create your livery using any sim racing platform of your choice! The livery can be made on any car, but it must clearly draw inspiration from a real-world Indy 500 car.
To submit your entry, head over to the Grid Finder Livery Marketplace and upload your livery under the relevant game’s section. Follow these steps to make sure your entry is counted:
- Create a Grid Finder account and log in.
- Click on View Profile.
- Select Livery Profile on the left and, if you haven’t already, create a Livery Profile.
- Click Upload Livery.
- Upload all the relevant livery files in the designated section.
- Ensure your account is Active and use the hashtag #GridFinderIndy500 in the livery name.
To find your livery in the Grid Finder Livery Marketplace, go to the link below, select your game from the drop-down menu, and choose your car model. Your design will be displayed for all to see! If you don’t see the relevant options or need help, feel free to reach out on our Discord server — we’re happy to assist!
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity & Uniqueness: How creative is your design?
- Theme Representation: How well does it reflect a real Indy 500 livery?
- Overall Visual Appeal: Does your livery turn heads on the track?
Prizes:
- 1st Place: €50
- 2nd Place: €30
- 3rd Place: €20

Make sure your livery is uploaded by May 25th to be considered. Don’t wait until the last minute!
