The Elgato Commentator Challenge aims to showcase the very best commentator talent, experienced or new to the commentary scene, in the Grid Finder community! Alongside our friends at Elgato, we’re offering prizes for the Top 3 submissions in the competition!
What can I do to take part?
To participate in the Elgato Commentator Challenge, you must create a 30-60 second showreel or compilation of the very best of your commentary moments. Whether funny, or action-packed, we want the showreel to encapsulate your commentary style, and let your creativity shine!
To submit your showreel, follow the instructions below:
- Make yourself a Grid Finder Commentator Profile
- Top Right Profile Drop-Down > Manage Profile > Add a Role > I’m a Commentator
- Upload your submission with our Add Work Sample tool
- Top Right Profile Drop-Down > Manage Profile > Commentator > Edit Commentator Profile > + Add Work Sample
- NOTE: Include the hashtag #Elgato25 in your submission
The Terms and Conditions of the Commentator Challenge are below:
- Language: English only
- Length: 30-60 seconds
- Originality: Submissions must be your own work, plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification
- Audio Quality: Clear and audible audio, poor quality audio will likely not be considered
- Video Quality: High quality video preferred, but not mandatory
- Offensive Content: Submissions with offensive language, hate speech and controversial remarks will not considered
